Toronto (ON), Canada (August 10, 2013) -- Zevrix Solutions today announces PDF Checkpoint 1.5.2, a feature update to its solution to automate PDF preflighting and conversion. Remarkably fast, PDF Checkpoint automatically preflights, exports as images, splits and optimizes multiple Adobe PDF files. PDF Checkpoint is an ideal program for users who need a fast, affordable and easy to use solution for PDF workflows that don't require costly hi-end production tools.

The new version introduces the following improvements:

-Lab color recognition in PDF images.
-Preflight reports now include the image ICC profile.
-Detailed image info for Photoshop PDF files.
-Color model of DeviceN images.
-Numerous fixes to improve the software performance and stability.

In addition, the new version lets users interactively locate the selected images in the actual PDF document, which is especially helpful to identify duplicate images with different properties as well as the images that end up being fractured during the PDF creation process.

PDF Checkpoint is designed to automate and simplify the PDF workflows of graphic designers, ad agencies, prepress houses and printers, and offers the following key features:

-Automate preflighting and conversion of multiple PDF files.
-View all PDF fonts, colors, images and metadata at a glance.
-Route files into success/error folders by preflight results.
-Split PDF files into single page PDFs.
-Export PDF as images with specific resolution, color and page scale.

For example, users can preflight a folder of PDF files and convert them to TIFF images at 300 dpi while scaling each page by 50%. Or optimize documents for the web and reduce file size dramatically by downsampling images to screen resolution.

Pricing and availability:
PDF Checkpoint can be purchased from the Zevrix Solutions website for US$59.95, as well as from authorized resellers. PDF Checkpoint is bundled with free Graphic Inspector software (a $39.95 value). The update is free to licensed users. Trial is also available for download. PDF Checkpoint is available for Mac OS X 10.5-10.8 as Universal Binary.

Red Cross Suppresses Controversial Malaria Cure

Leaked Video Contains Glowing Statements by RC Officials.

New York, NY, USA (August 10, 2013) -- A simple and inexpensive malaria cure discovered in 1996 was finally tested in December 2012 by the Uganda Red Cross (URC) and the Water Reference Center (WRC), an affiliated organization of the Red Cross. 154 malaria positive patients were malaria negative within 24-48 hours-with no side effects. Participants were under a verbal non-disclosure agreement, including Jim Humble, the man who discovered the cure. After 5 months of being repeatedly told to keep quiet, Humble concluded the test results would never be made public and instructed his associates to release an amateur video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lzPpZ_9vl0) of the test over the objections of the WRC.

One week later, the International Federation of Red Cross & Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) posted a statement (http://www.ifrc.org/en/news-and-media/opinions-and-positions/opinion-pieces/2013/ifrc-strongly-dissociates-from-the-claim-of-a-miracle-solution-to-defeat-malaria) on their website strongly dissociating themselves from a "miracle solution to defeat malaria" and that there was no "clinical trial." Shortly after, the WRC posted virtually the same statement (http://waterreferencecenter.com/blog) on their website.

In late June 2013, Leo Koehof, an associate of Humble and also the one who trained the Red Cross staff in Uganda on the treatment protocol, was informed that a professionally produced video of the test was hidden on YouTube. He was provided the link and had it downloaded immediately before it could be completely suppressed. The video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrwZN1cPfX8) was rereleased on July 1, 2013 along with statements by Humble and Koehof. The leaked video clearly describes how the test was performed and includes glowing statements of the results by the Red Cross staff, and how they had never seen anything work so well and so fast. The video was narrated by Klaas Proesmans, the founder and CEO of the WRC, who concluded the video with this statement: "We closed the operation to report back to the Secretary General here in Uganda Red Cross Society. And, to report back to the Water Resource Center about the results of this field test. Now, all in all... a 100% cured people... less than 5 days... all within 24 hours to 48 hours! That asks for further investigation."

The IFRC's statement includes this sentence: "Malaria affects 219 million people every year, killing a child somewhere in the world every minute." Clearly, the cover-up by the IFRC contributes to this very serious problem they themselves point out. If recent news reports of the development of an anti-malaria vaccine are correct, then some progress is being made. However, those already infected with malaria are not helped at all and continue to die. Additionally, the FDA has warned that Lariam, a common anti-malaria drug, has dangerous side-effects.

Additional unpublished video footage has surfaced along with the existence of months of correspondence that supports the preparation of the test and the subsequent attempts to keep the results quiet.

Jim Humble's claim of a malaria cure has been maligned by supposed experts online for years. The positive results of the Uganda test now puts into question the motives of those so called experts.

SAN RAFAEL, CA, USA (August 10, 2013) -- Contact: Tom Andrews, 415-507-9962

Alan "Action" Schneider, New York's most celebrated Sugar Daddy, invites beautiful women and wealthy bachelors to celebrate his 50th birthday with him aboard the world's first Sugar Daddy Cruise, Wednesday, August 14, 2013, sponsored by SugarDaddyForMe.com.

"The Sugar Daddy Lifestyle is a throwback to traditional relationship values," says The Action Man, "where the roles are defined between men and women. The man is the primary provider and is chivalrous and pampering; while the woman is nurturing.

Mr. Schneider will be giving out free relationship advice to everyone aboard the cruise. He will refute the commonly held myth of the OLD sugar daddy in his 70s and 80s with a woman in her 20's. "Today's Sugar Daddy is commonly a man in his 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond who not only has discretionary income, but is willing to devote time to listen, mentor, and enrich his sugar baby. Whether it's helping her do her college assignments, establish a business, or just mentor her, the Sugar Daddy provides much more than money to the relationship. The bottom line is that these relationships have brought much happiness to both men and women. SugarDaddyForMe.com is exploding with new members despite the salacious misinterpretation of the name."

Alan Action should know. He lives the lifestyle. He has hosted over 50 Sugar Daddy events and has personally been in contact with thousands of women in this lifestyle. He will talk to attendees about the real life situations and pitfalls of sugar daddy relationships, as well as realistic expectations and how to make these relationships work. He will reveal techniques, suggest ideal first dates, and give reality-driven suggestions based on mutual reciprocity and respect.

Guests of Honor will be Lisa and Walter, who met at one of Alan's events and are now engaged to be married. They are available to the news media for interviews.

The cruise aboard the Cabana Boat will depart from New York Skyports, E 23rd St & FDR Dr, New York NY. TV camera crews and print media photographers are welcome to memorialize the cruise.
