Toronto (ON), Canada (July 31, 2015) -- Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of Output Factory Server 1.2.1, a compatibility update to its solution to automate printing, exporting and post-processing from Adobe InDesign. Developed originally for a major magazine publisher in the United States to free up their operator computers from outputting InDesign files, the software automates InDesign workflow by processing files from watched hot folders.

The new version makes Output Factory Server compatible with the recently announced 2015 release of InDesign CC, featured as part of Adobe Creative Cloud. The update is offered free of charge to Output Factory Server users. The same version of Output Factory Server can be used with any version of InDesign from CS3 and later.

"Output Factory Server is an extremely useful utility for a busy production facility or advertising agency", writes David Creamer in Layers magazine, "It can save lots of time - which equates to money."

Under Output Factory Server workflow, production artists, prepress operators and designers simply copy InDesign jobs to hot folders that reside on a network. Users can create hot folders for different types of output such as hi-res PDF, large format printing, EPUB files and so on. Output Factory Server offers the following key features:

-Support for print, PDF, PostScript, EPS, JPEG, Flash, EPUB and other formats
-Variable output file names
-Preflight files before output
-Automatic e-mail notifications
-Serves unlimited users on a network

Pricing and Availability:

Biotage® ACT Plate Adapter Prevents Evaporative Cross-Talk

Biotage® (STO: BIOT), announces the launch of Biotage® ACT (Anti Cross Talk) Plate Adapter, an innovative solution for prevention of well to well cross contamination during extract evaporation.

Uppsala, Sweden (July 24, 2015) -- Biotage® (STO: BIOT), a leading global supplier of solutions and technology for analytical and medicinal chemistry, announces the launch of Biotage® ACT (Anti Cross Talk) Plate Adapter, an innovative solution for prevention of well to well cross contamination during extract evaporation.

Biotage® ACT Plate Adapter is an essential accessory for evaporation devices. Constructed from robust, high grade anodized aluminum, it fits on top of the 96-well collection plate containing the sample during evaporation. The plate adapter is compatible with straight needle evaporation devices such as the Biotage® SPE Dry 96 and Biotage® SPE Dry Dual systems, and does not require any changes to the existing analytical method.

The Biotage® ACT Plate Adapter is designed to fit on top of the 96-well collection plate, is reusable and easy to use. Evaporated gases are directed away from the sample wells, eddies are reduced, and the plate adapter reduces the open surface area of the top of the wells, lessening the likelihood that material can re-enter and contaminate adjacent wells.

"During evaporation a proportional amount of analytes present in an extracted sample can contaminate surrounding wells by being carried with the volatilized solvent. If the analyte concentration in one well is considerably higher than the analyte concentration in the surrounding wells it has the potential to cause a clinically significant and erroneous change to the adjacent samples. Biotage® ACT Plate Adapter is the first commercially available device to address the issue of cross talk on evaporation" says Dr. Claire Desbrow, Product Manager, Analytical Chemistry, Biotage.

The plate adapter can be incorporated into existing assays without the need for changing any other aspects of the method, and there is minimal impact of solvent drying times.

Art Gallery Named Arturo Gonzalez Featured Artist

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Arturo Gonzalez is the gallery's newest featured artist. He will now be promoted in the gallery's artist showcase for the next 30 days.

Jupiter, FL, USA (July 19, 2015) -- Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Arturo Gonzalez is the gallery's newest featured artist. He will now be promoted in the gallery's artist showcase for the next 30 days.

Arturo Gonzalez was born in Chicago, IL and he still resides in the area today. It wasn't until 2010 that Arturo discovered a passion for photography.

The positive feedback from his friends helped fuel his growing love of photography. Arturo then upgraded his camera gear to a Nikon DSLR and he started to visit places he had only dreamed of including Hawaii, London, Rome, Paris, and Barcelona.

For Arturo, traveling and photography made the perfect combination. He explains, "You are exposed to many things you don't see at home and photography allows you to capture those memories. In essence, you become a storyteller and photography becomes the medium you tell the story in. The internet allows the story to reach millions if you desire."

Cityscapes and landscapes are Arturo's favorite themes to capture in photography. Chicago is one of the best cities for people to capture beautiful cityscape photos. The national parks in the USA are second to none for landscape photography. An area that Arturo would like to delve into in the future is astrophotography. Arturo's photography collection can be found at https://www.flickr.com/photos/91761878@N08/sets and you can see the full article https://www.lightspacetime.com/artist-showcase/artist-showcase-arturo-gonzalez.

Corn Products First of Mi Rancho's Organic Products To Be Verified by Non-GMO Project.

San Leandro, CA, USA (July 15, 2015) -- Mi Rancho®, a Bay Area food innovator in the production and global distribution of tortillas and Mexican foods, today announced that the company's line of organic stone-ground corn tortillas and taco sliders are now Non-GMO Project Verified. Ensuring that the company's organic products are free of genetic modifications is just part of Mi Rancho's commitment to consumers, grocers, and food service customers that its products are made from the safest ingredients.

With verification by the Non-GMO Project, Mi Rancho customers can be assured that the company's corn tortillas and taco sliders are truly organic and free of GMOs.

"Consumers are increasingly concerned about the quality of the food they eat, and labels such as natural and organic don't carry the assurance they once did," said Fernando Alvear, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mi Rancho. "By having our corn tortillas and taco sliders verified by the Non-GMO Project we can proudly say that our products are, indeed, organic and made from safe ingredients. Our ultimate goal is to see that our entire organic product line is Non-GMO Project verified as free from genetic modifications."

Mi Rancho offers a complete line of organic and all-natural tortillas made with organic corn, artisan flour with organic wheat, artisan corn, and organic flax and quinoa. Today the company is now in its third generation and is still family owned and operated. Mi Rancho produces 4.5 million tortillas each day or 1.3 billion tortillas each year, serving various segments including food service, retail, industrial, and international. Peratech's Pressure Sensitive QTC® Technology Enables New Smartphone Case To Incorporate Game Controller Joysticks

World's first smartphone case with rear action joysticks.

Richmond, North Yorks, England (July 10, 2015) -- Peratech, providers of pressure-based enabling technologies for innovating next generation human-machine interfaces, has announced that its Quantum Tunnelling Composite® pressure-sensitive sensors have been used in the new Flitchio™ smartphone case with built-in game controller. Instead of having control interfaces on the screen that obscure the screen area used for gaming, Flitchio has two shoulder buttons and two ultrathin joysticks on the back surface of the case.

Dr. Amir Shadmand, CEO and Co-Founder of SUPENTA, makers of Flitchio, explained, "Peratech enabled us to solve our challenges of making the joysticks sensitive, accurate and thin so that they fitted into a normal thickness smartphone case. In addition, QTC technology is extremely efficient -- using hardly any current, so we can power our system wirelessly just with the NFC antennas in the smartphone. Peratech worked closely with us to help with sensor design and integration. The result is a world's first and a real game changer."

Jon Stark, Peratech's CEO, added, "QTC technology has been used to provide touch sensitivity for mobile phones before but this is the first time that someone has created a QTC-based product that uses the back of a device. SUPENTA did a great job designing a control in which your fingers fall naturally onto the joysticks. It takes only a few moments to become used to using fingers on the back of the case to control the action. It's a totally intuitive device for natural hand-eye coordination and a perfect example of QTC technology enabling user experience innovations."

Flitchio simply snaps onto the phone and links in moments by NFC so that it can be used to play dozens of popular games, to pilot drones, to take a selfie with the back of the phone, to be a remote for Smart TVs, and to drive many more applications using a software development kit. The case is initially built for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, but SUPENTA intends to make cases for other smartphones in the future. Prices will start from £39 including VAT with availability in early 2016.

Said Shadmand, "We chose Peratech QTC technology because it's effectively a sensitive, consistent solid-state force sensor that will give us the operational life we need in the demanding world of mobile gaming."

About Peratech
Peratech Holdco Ltd. is a privately held company with 20 employees based in Richmond, North Yorkshire. It is currently working with a number of key technology clients who are implementing QTC® sensing technology within their own products. The company is an excellent example of British innovation bringing in global revenue. QTC technology is protected by numerous worldwide patents and has a wide range of applications. From robotics to automotive and from touch screens to consumer electrical products, the product has been integrated into over a million products with companies around the world. KastKing® Rolls Out Advanced Inshore Fishing Rods

KastKing® fishing rod department used technology, research, and development to manufacture its new series of high power, affordable inshore rods named KastKing® Perigee Inshore Rods.

Garden City, Long Island, NY (July 9, 2015) -- Today, KastKing® a division of Eposeidon, Inc. based in Garden City, Long Island, NY announced a new fishing rod series aimed at the inshore saltwater and big game freshwater markets.

KastKing's® Perigee Inshore Fishing Rod is based on the technology of their extremely successful KastKing® Perigee fishing rods for the freshwater bass market, which retail in the $70 - $80 range. The new 7', 6 rods will retain the Perigee name for marketing purposes. The dynamic new rods are available in casting and spinning models, in medium-heavy and heavy power.

"We consulted with our development team, many professional charter captains, and guides in producing this rod," says Tom Gahan, marketing director at Eposeidon. "Saltwater anglers began using our freshwater bass series rods and multipurpose rods. They were delighted. Those who target big striped bass, bull redfish, and other large fish kept asking for a heavy power rod that was light and could perform as well as the medium-heavy power rods we primarily developed for the freshwater market. We also had requests from those going after big catfish and muskies. We met the demand for a high quality, heavy power rod that includes all of the high-tech features of our freshwater series."

KastKing® Perigee Inshore Rods have 9 guides plus the tip guide, a unique Micro Polish finish that eliminates sanding the rod blank resulting in 10% more strength than other rods. There is no need for paint, which adds weight and insulates the guide foot from the blank reducing sensitivity. KastKing® fishing rods are made with the finest materials available. Special design, durable 24-ton, high-grade, tightly woven carbon fiber sheets creates the foundation of every KastKing® Inshore rod blank. The extra tightness of the weave results in more backbone, farther casting, consistent action, and more power.
