Ken Monroe, 2010 Cub of the Year, will crown Miss Cougar Valentine at the Meet Your Cougar Valentine Convention, Saturday, February 12, 2011, at The Shark Club, 841 Baker Street, Costa Mesa CA 92626.
“Ken Monroe is the Cub of the Year because he is handsome, in shape, mature, ambitious, and outgoing,” says Lucia, one of the world’s top cougar experts (“Queen of the Cougar Jungle,” KTLA). The Convention opens at 7:30pm with an entertaining keynote addresses by Dr. Fayr Barkley, who did her doctoral dissertation on the cougar phenomenon; and by Rich Gosse, author The Cougar Imperative: Why MidLife Women MUST Choose Younger Men. Following the keynotes, Judy Steinberg, a cougar comedienne, will perform standup comedy. The highpoint of the Convention will be the Miss Cougar Valentine Contest. One woman at The Convention will be elected by the Cubs in attendance. The winner will be a woman who is present at the Convention, legally single, and at least 35 years of age. She will win a free room at Hedonism II Resort & Spa at Negril Beach, Jamaica during International Cougar Week, March 27 – April 2, 2011. She will be crowned shortly before 10pm and will be available to the news media for interviews. She will also be available for photos in front of the club’s 2,000 gallon shark tank.
The cost to attend the convention is $20 at the door, which includes a Dance Party.
