Luxury Travel Vietnam (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) to Show Its Expertise at ITB Berlin 2011.
Hanoi, Vietnam, February 24, 2011 -- With VNAT, Luxury Travel Vietnam (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) is showcasing its luxury tailor-made tourism services at the annual travel trade show in Berlin from March 9th to 13th, 2011.
"Vietnam is an emerging luxury travel hotspot in Southeast Asia" - Pham Ha, President and chief executive officer of the Luxury Travel Company.
Vietnam-based Luxury Travel Company is the first luxury travel operator in Vietnam which is known for offering a wide range of private tours.
"We are truly specialized in Mice, special interest tours, golfing, cruises, family travel, romance, wellness and spa, beach vacation, luxury adventures, gourmet, and cooking classes," added Tony Pham Ha.
Vietnam has established its reputation as a unique and genuine Southeast Asian experience. And now, there is ample opportunity to explore it in style and luxury.
"Whatever travel experience you want, name it we make it happen," he said. "Luxury Travel Company (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) serves more than 10,000 tourists a year, each of whom spend up to 1000 USD per day."
He added: “We expect good German traffic to Vietnam in 2011 after a recovery. German-speaking markets are among the top three from Europe, aided by a direct flight between Vietnam and Germany. And though Vietnam is better known as backpacker destination, efforts are being made to promote Vietnam as a luxe destination and attract upscale German-speaking travelers with niche tourism products.”
The company handled around one per cent of the 100,000 or so German visitors to Vietnam last year, a 20 per cent increase over 2009.
Besides appointing German native Jens Pickhan as its senior sales and marketing executive based in Hanoi and adding pages in German to its website, Luxury Travel is also training its tour guides and travel consultants to handle German-speaking travellers and plans to launch its first brochure in German at ITB Berlin next month.
Luxury Travel CEO Pham Ha said the company earned 23 billion dong (US$1.1 million) in revenue last year - a 20 per cent increase over 2009. “We expect another 20 per cent growth this year, and to reach 30 billion dong next year.”
