After Three Years In The Making The PB Reality Show Makes Its Debut

Premiere to be held at Ultra Star Cinemas on January 31st 2012 at 7:00PM.

San Diego, California (January 24, 2012) -- After 3 years of parties, bikini contests, and lots of drama, the first episode of the PB Reality Show will make its much anticipated debut this Tuesday at the Ultra Star Cinemas. The show features the adventures of Jim Lawlor (a.k.a. the PB Millionaire) and his lavish lifestyle in Pacific Beach. From the majestic castle on a hill he calls home, to the gorgeous girls that surround him.

It’s all about celebrating life,” said Lawlor, founder of the PB Reality Show. However, Lawlor did not always find himself living this extravagant lifestyle. He was once struggling to make ends meet - even sleeping in his car until he could afford an office space to serve as his bedroom. These experiences made a great impact on Lawlor, and he now is commonly seen providing food for the homeless, donating money to his favorite charities, and helping those in need.

According to Lawlor, it wasn't all fun and parties; there was also hard work and obstacles to overcome to put on the show. Some highlights include the first Miss Pacific Beach contest, costume contests, good drama, and some surprises.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet Jim and the cast at the Double Tree Hotel, next door to the theater, before and after the show. The show will be released to the general public on Lawlor's own TV network called Pacific Beach Reality TV starting on February 16th. The show already has a huge fan base on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/thepbrealityshow) even prior to the first episode’s release with over 40,000 fans and counting.

Lawlor was once painting houses as a means to get by when he, ironically, came up with an invention for spray painting goggles that eventually made him a millionaire. Since becoming successful, he enjoys celebrating life with friends and lives what he calls “the California dream.” Several people suggested that he make a show about his lifestyle and so he did.

The premiere will be held at the Ultra Star Cinemas, 7510 Hazard Center Drive, San Diego, CA 92108.

Now could be great time for timber investors, claims FRA

FRA said that now is a great time to have investments in forestry as the construction industry in the US begins to recover from its long slump.

Seattle, United States, January 24, 2012 -- Forestry Research Associates (FRA) said that now is a great time to have investments in forestry as the construction industry in the US begins to recover from its long slump.

A recent report in Zacks Investment Research said that recent figures suggest that 2012 could be the year that the construction industry grows again. This is great news for those who own trees or have cash invested in to timber-based exchange traded funds, who have been hanging on to their assets in recent years. Many investors would have avoided selling their timber assets over the past couple of years due to the slowing demand in the construction industry. As a result, their trees will be even larger now and will be worth more as a result.

This is the great selling point for timber investments,” stated FRA’s analysis partner, Pete Collins. He added, “If timber prices look anything less than strong, investors can simply hold onto their assets and wait until the prices increase. In the meantime, their assets grow further and are worth more when they finally choose to sell.”

The report by Zacks also claims that forestry has an extremely low correlation with traditional asset classes and therefore, provides an extremely effective way to diversify a portfolio. FRA claims that more and more investors are turning to alternative asset classes, such as timber, to help them to spread the risk within their investment portfolio.

Zacks' report talks about direct investment routes, such as through plantation schemes like the one run by Greenwood Management in Brazil, where investors buy up pieces of plantation land and receive returns based on the cyclical sale of timber assets. It also talked about investing in funds that are based on timber, which can offer a slightly more risky option for those interested in putting some of their cash in forestry.

AAA welcomes New Rare Coin Fund

A new alternative investment fund, which focuses on rare coins, has been welcomed by AAA.

Boston, MA, USA, January 24, 2012 -- A new alternative investment fund, which focuses on rare coins, has been welcomed by Alternative Asset Analysis, an alternative investment advocacy group.

The fund is being launched by several rare coin enthusiasts, together with a wall street fund manager, who together have formed Certified Assets Management International (CAMI) in order to launch their rare coin product.

The fund managers will help investors to manage their coin and precious metal purchases and will also launch a fund worth $250 million, invested in the market. One of the experts involved in the fund is Robert L Higgins, who managed a rare coin fund in the past, successfully generating returns of 17 per cent. Higgins told press: "Certified Assets Management has a proven track record of over a decade of successful rare coin funds management.”

He added, “This is an excellent time for the numismatic market and Wall Street to do it the right way.”

AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson agree with Higgins, arguing that now was a great time to launch alternative funds as the appetite for alternatives was enormous thanks to the ongoing volatility of the stock markets.

Another spokesperson for CAMI explained, "The investment community has a need for alternative investments that are truly uncorrelated with traditional investments. Using rare coins as an asset class and investment vehicle provides an opportunity for investors to diversify their investment portfolios.”

AAA is a supporter of alternative investments as a way to direct investment cash into ethical and more productive directions, while offering investors the chance of diversification and strong returns. Mr Johnson added, “We are mainly on the side of environmentally and socially responsible investments, such as the forestry plantation scheme offered by firms like Greenwood Management in Brazil.”

However,” added Johnson, “ethics and profits do not have to be mutually exclusive."
