"Karina Sings": A Concert Bringing Awareness Surrounding Special Needs Children and their Families

Timonium, MD, USA (March 31, 2014) -- Goucher College Students' A Capella Group, Red Hot Blue will preform on April 13th; two Opera singers from NYC, Edgar Jaramillo - Tenor, and Evelyn Thatcher - Soprano will sing areas and duets by Puccini, Verdi, and F. Lehar.

The mission of Karina Association to improve the quality of life for special needs children and young adults through professional services, advocacy and heightened public awareness. Our goal is to maximize the strengths and potential of children and young adults with special needs by bringing together dedicated families with outstanding professionals and volunteers to provide specialized therapy programs and family respite support. Karina Association was founded in 2009 by Biliana Borimetchkova to raise public awareness surrounding disabled children and young adults that come from low and moderate income families. Karina Association was created to fill an unmet need in the community of Baltimore City and the surrounding area. Karina is one of the few organizations in Maryland that practices the multi-disciplinary Expressive Arts Therapy Model.
