T5 customers investing a minimum of $200 million will qualify for a 10-year tax exemption; customers investing $250 million will qualify for a 15-year tax exemption.

New York City, NY, USA (June 25, 2013) -- A deeply liquid market is considered a sign of a healthy market with lots of participants, but Commissioner Bart Chilton, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, says all liquidity may not be the same and could be distorting markets. The CFTC is concerned that some of the liquidity that may be provided by high-frequency traders could be "fantasy liquidity created by 'wash' sales," which is prohibited under both the Commodity Exchange Act and exchange rules.

High-frequency traders enter and exit the market quickly and can do so multiple times a day, helping to create a more liquid market. But they're a relatively new addition to the trading world and Chilton said how they operate needs closer scrutiny, especially since at times they can be 30% to 50% of a market. The concern is over "wash" trades, which happens a trader trades with himself, in other words puts out a bid price and matches it. "If you're trading with yourself, you have nothing to lose, you're not taking a risk. If this was occurring a little bit, it would be no harm, no foul," Chilton said.

However, he said, this is happening more than a little bit, calling the wash trades "voluminous." Chilton said there may be two reasons why these wash trades are happening. One is to make it look like there is deep volume to entice other people to trade those markets. Second, these traders may be part of legitimate market-maker programs, which is when an exchange pays a market-maker to provide liquidity. "But it's dangerous if you're trading with yourself and taking no risk. It can also affect price discovery and hurts consumers," he said.

American Public Screams 'Stop' To US Senate's Immigration Amnesty Push

ALIPAC is calling on all American citizens to call Washington, DC, to demand that the US Senate delay any votes on the illegal immigration Amnesty bill S. 744 until the full impact of both the Corker-Hoeven amendment to the 1200 page bill and the recently revealed NSA and DHS surveillance of elected officials can be studied to determine how legislation could be manipulated by those with access to the NSA data.

Senator Harry Reid and the Obama administration are pushing senators to vote on a drastic rewrite of the illegal immigrant Amnesty bill S. 744 today and then final Cloture on the bill this week, despite the fact most senators will not have a chance to read the new changes or assess their impact on the legislation. The Corker-Hoeven amendment appears to be some hollow assurance of future border security in exchange for Amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants immediately.

"There will never be any border security or American borders for that matter if this bill is ever signed into law," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "Lawmakers pushing this legislation that will prove highly destructive to American jobs, communities, and sovereignty are clearly not representing the interests of average American citizens. We need the Senate to slow down, read the bill, and give us time to discover if NSA dirty laundry is being used to manipulate these senators and this legislation!"

ALIPAC is America's 3rd largest grassroots based organization fighting for the adequate enforcement of the nation's existing constitutional, borders, and immigration laws instead of any form of Amnesty that would lead to voting rights for illegal immigrants who would in turn decimate all three.

ALIPAC's national network of activists played a key role in defeating similar Amnesty legislation in 2006, 2007, and 2010.

Despite several designer polls paid for by pro Amnesty groups claiming most Americans support Amnesty for illegal immigrants, ALIPAC's large collection of polls shows the inverse is true and that most Americans oppose the Amnesty contained in Senate Bill S. 744.

Long Island Authors and Writers Society Members Sign Books at Summer Festival

Authors of children's, young adult and family friendly books will sign books and meet readers during Harbes Family Farm Sweet Corn Festival on July 13.

Mattituck, NY (June 21, 2013) -- Amid an array of singing hayrides, pig races, farm animals, antique tractors, beekeeping exhibits and bushels of what has been called by Newsday, the 'best corn on Long Island', author members of Long Island Authors and Writers Society will be at Harbes Family Farm in Mattituck on Saturday, July 13 from 11 AM until 3 PM during Harbes Farms Sweet Corn Festival.

Included in the lineup of LIAWS authors are: ten-time award winning children's author and children's motivational speaker, Yvonne Capitelli, children's book author Dr. Loraine Alderman, an advocate for children with learning disabilities who recently received Book of the Year Award, on-air radio personality and children's book author, Lisa A. Dabrowski, elementary educator Valerie Pfundstein the author of Veterans, Heroes In Our Neighborhood, and author Tom Gahan, whose novel Harmony Bay was influenced by places and events on eastern Long Island during the American Revolution and became required reading at several Long Island high schools.

The author's works represent several subjects including character-building, farm life, history, science, and community relations. "We feel this is a good matchup of writing talents and titles with this venue. We look forward to meeting writers and aspiring authors from around Long Island," says Tom Gahan, president of the not-for-profit LIAWS that mentors and develops writers at all levels.

The Great North Fork Awakening Takes Place August 3

Strawberry Fields in Mattituck, becomes a Field of Hope on Saturday, Aug 3, 2013 from noon until 8 PM.

Mattituck, NY (June 21, 2013) -- In fulfillment of the shared vision and years of prayer by many Christians, The Great North Fork Awakening -- Where You'll Meet God comes to life on Saturday, August 3 at Strawberry Fields on Route 48 in Mattituck. A day of music, prayer, sermons, and people sharing the Gospel and their own amazing stories is scheduled from noon until 8 PM.

Tents will be erected to protect event goers from the elements for this rain or shine event. Although food vendors will be on hand, the public is invited to bring their own picnic basket and bottled water. Admission is free.

"North Fork Awakening is an opportune time to help people find faith as a way of life, to refresh those who have become overwhelmed by life and to speak hope to a community already loved by God!," says Pastor Lesaya Kelly of Crossover Christian Church in Mount Sinai. Pastor Kelly has served in pastoral ministry for 25 years, both here in the States and in her home country, South Africa.

Event organizers agree that Strawberry Fields in Mattituck will be the place to "find the missing peace in your life" on August 3.

"This will truly be a glorious day for the North Fork of Long Island to witness and attend a good 'ole fashion tent revival. Faith and art on display for the whole community. This is not religion, but the Gospel at its best. If anybody needs some lovin' this is the place to be," says Mattituck Presbyterian Church's pastor, George Gaffga.

The Great North Fork Awakening -- Where You'll Meet God is an interdenominational event and all are welcome, whether they are the deeply faithful, or the un-churched seeking spiritual direction. "It's free GPS," says event chairperson, Alex Nyilas, who had an idea for such an event almost two years ago. "That is, God's Positioning System. And, upgrades are always available at no charge."

"This is an opportunity to experience the church without walls as many people from many local congregations gather together to show our community real love," added Pastor Mike Jankowski of Lamb's Chapel in Center Moriches.

Dennis Bambino, a sought after speaker for churches, seminars and conferences, will be among the speakers at the Great North Fork Awakening. He is scheduled to speak at 6 PM on Saturday, August 3. Bambino has been ministering for over 30 years: as a church planter and Senior Pastor, ministering in 27 countries, Director of Christ for the Nations Institute of Biblical Studies and initiator of church and prayer networks.

He currently serves: on the apostolic counsel of Christ Covenant Coalition under Bishop Joseph Mattera, as founder of Petra Institute of Biblical Training, Long Island, overseer of Christian Family Fellowship International, as a Lifeforming Leadership Coach and consultant to individuals, churches and businesses for leadership development and strategic planning.

Also included in the schedule along with other music presentations is the popular Long Island based Christian band, Crossing Jordan.
