Output Factory for InDesign Improves Flash SWF and PostScript Export

Zevrix Solutions announces Output Factory 1.5.44, a maintenance update to its output automation solution for Adobe InDesign. Output Factory automates printing, exporting, preflighting and file delivery from InDesign. The software offers an array of time saving options such as batch processing, export as single pages, variable file names, layer versioning, PDF preflight, FTP delivery and more. The new version improves the reliability of InDesign file conversion to PostScript and Flash SWF formats.

Toronto (ON), Canada (February 20, 2016) -- Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of Output Factory 1.5.44, a maintenance update to its solution to automate printing, exporting and preflighting from Adobe InDesign. Output Factory lets printers, ad agencies and publishing houses worldwide automate and simplify their output workflow and easily repurpose InDesign files for the web and mobile devices.

The new version addresses an issue in which a non-proportional page scale in output settings wasn't honored when saving InDesign documents as PostScript files on some systems. In addition, the update ensures that HTML documents created during the Flash SWF export are being included in the delivery batch when users opt to send output files to FTP, WebDAV, Amazon S3 and other remote servers after processing.

"Output Factory has been the single biggest time-saver I've encountered in years of print production," says Mike Agate, Production Manager of Which?, Europe's largest consumer rights organization. "With the reduction in head count and efficiency savings, it must have paid for itself 500 times over."

With Output Factory users only need to select InDesign files, adjust workflow settings, and the software will do the rest automatically - while built-in preflighting ensures that no output errors are left unnoticed. The program supports all popular output formats and offers the following key features:

-Output multiple InDesign files with a single click
-Supports print, PDF, PostScript, JPEG, TIFF, HTML and other formats
-Output to several formats at once
-Variable output file names
-Insert text from InDesign file into output name
-Detailed output history

Pricing and Availability:
Output Factory can be purchased from Zevrix website for US$169.95 (Light version $120, Server $700), as well as from authorized resellers and Adobe Exchange. Trial is also available for download. BatchOutput users can upgrade to Output Factory for $85. Output Factory requires Mac OS X 10.7-10.11 and Adobe InDesign CS3-CC 2015.

Paula A. Montgomery is Gallery's New Featured Artist

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that fine artist Paula Montgomery has been named as the Gallery's new featured artist.

Jupiter, FL, USA (February 17, 2016) -- Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that fine artist Paula Montgomery has been named as the Gallery's new featured artist and she will now be promoted by the gallery for the next 30 days and be presented in their Artist Showcase.

Lively, effervescent color rhythmically pulsates through the paintings of American artist Paula Montgomery. Beginning each composition with a particular hue or design, Montgomery then lets her materials and concept guide her process as she produces breathtakingly exquisite canvases.

Primarily focusing on flora as a subject, Montgomery passionately transforms everyday flowers into painterly visual poems. Utilizing either a lithe, expressionistic brushstroke or a purposeful palette knife, the artist boldly applies paints with a poetic flourish. Unwilling to limit herself to traditional materials alone, Montgomery embraces mixed media techniques and materials in order to accumulate the abstract quality of her works. Thus the paintings hover gracefully between abstraction and representation.

Elegant and independent, these paintings exude a sense of peace and joy. "If my work can bring a moment of happiness to the viewer, then I feel I've accomplished something worthwhile," Montgomery explains. "I am always looking for that inner expression to make its presence felt in my work." Paula Montgomery lives and works in North Carolina. Her website is http://www.paulamontgomeryart.com.

Scalia: ALIPAC Responds to LA Times & San Antonio News Criticisms

Raleigh, NC, USA (February 17, 2016) -- Contact: Americans for Legal Immigration PAC | WilliamG@alipac.us | (866) 703-0864

ALIPAC is issuing the following response to today's criticisms found in the Los Angeles Times and the San Antonio Express-News regarding the organization's viral press releases titled "ALIPAC Calls for Immediate Autopsy of Judge Scalia" and "Scalia Death Handled by Democratic Party Operatives."

Both articles attempt to disparage anyone from questioning the handling of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's unexpected and unexplained death and lack of autopsy and toxicology reports, with specific personalities targeted in the articles including Presidential candidate Donald Trump, radio show host Michael Savage, Infowars show host Alex Jones, and ALIPAC's President William Gheen.

Why are these major newspapers arguing against proper law enforcement investigations of Scalia's cause of death?

Justice Scalia was found dead by millionaire Democratic Party donor and Obama ally John Poindexter near America's unsecured, dangerous, porous, and cartel controlled Southern Border! Scalia was considered to be a solid vote against Obama's amnesty orders that 26 states including Texas are suing to stop as well as many other lawsuits relevant to Obama's agenda. The Supreme Court was expected to vote on Obama's clearly unconstitutional amnesty orders in the next few weeks, making Scalia one of Obama's main political stumbling blocks since GOP Speaker Paul Ryan, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and many other Republican lawmakers in Congress have recently capitulated to Obama and voted to fund all his programs with the Omnibus funding bill last December.

"These Obama and illegal alien amnesty backing newspapers are attacking and engaging in name calling against anyone who simply feels forensic investigations, autopsies, and toxicology reports are prudent when elected and appointed officials are found dead for causes unknown." said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "We stand by and repeat our call for an immediate thorough forensic examination of Scalia's body by multiple law enforcement agencies responsible for the national security of our nation. We also contend that any decisions rendered by the Supreme Court without Scalia's replacement confirmed by the US Senate will be deemed as illegitimate by large numbers of American citizens who are expressing doubts about how Scalia died and how his death has been handled. This mishandling of the tragic death of Justice Scalia puts our national security and government officials at greater risk while further undermining confidence in our government at a time of historic distrust and disappointment with Washington, DC, institutions and the media!"

If foul play or accidental poisoning was involved with the death of Justice Scalia, much of that evidence has already been destroyed or corrupted when his body was washed and embalmed at a funeral home less than 24 hours after his body was discovered.

A large number of conspiracy theories can now be expected because of the failures government officials that have once again failed to do their jobs correctly.

ALIPAC is considering releasing an open letter to Scalia's family tomorrow requesting that his family order an autopsy of his remains to help settle some of these widely held concerns.

For more information, or to schedule interviews please visit http://www.ALIPAC.us.

DHS, FBI and DOJ Data Hacks Could Have Been Avoided, says Cybersecurity Expert and Consultant Edgar Perez

Edgar Perez, author of Knightmare on Wall Street and The Speed Traders, is presenting the 3-Day Masterclass in Cybersecurity, workshop targeted at board members and senior executives looking for new ways to gain and maintain competitive business advantage in one of the most critical subjects for corporations and governments worldwide.

New York City, NY, USA (February 13, 2016) -- The recent hacker attack that compromised information from some 20,000 people employed by the Department of Justice, including Federal Bureau of Investigation officials, and another 9,000 from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) could have been prevented, said Edgar Perez, author of Knightmare on Wall Street and The Speed Traders, and presenter of the 3-Day Masterclass in Cybersecurity.

According to technology news site Motherboard, the hacker had used spear phishing and simple human engineering to bypass one stage of the authorities' security systems. Motherboard quoted the hacker, who explained: "So I called up, told them I was new and I didn't understand how to get past [the portal]. They asked if I had a token code, I said no, they said that's fine - just use our one."

Mr. Perez, author, business consultant for private equity and hedge funds and Council Member at the Gerson Lehrman Group, took issue with the relatively ease with which hackers gained access to the organizations in charge of protecting the security of millions of Americans. "It is beyond my understanding how personnel of the Department of Homeland Security didn't take steps to verify an anonymous request from an alleged new employee. Furthermore, they provided the pseudo employee with a token code no questions asked. What this reveals is a dramatic lack of awareness of the very cyber risks the agency is tasked with fighting against."

This recent incident comes after a June data theft from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) that exposed the deeply researched security clearances of 21.5m current and former government employees and contractors, from phone numbers to fingerprints.

ABOUT 3-DAY MASTERCLASS IN CYBERSECURITY
As Internet usage becomes increasingly widespread and information technology ever more complex, cybersecurity is becoming an increasingly important and business-critical field. Are you and your organization effectively prepared to handle cybersecurity threats? Do you know how to identify threats and address challenges, and how to apply a cybersecurity framework?

The *brand-new* 3 Day Masterclass in Cybersecurity is designed for all C-level executives and senior managers looking for a comprehensive overview of the field, as well as specialists in data security, information technology and software development.

ABOUT KNIGHTMARE ON WALL STREET
Knightmare on Wall Street, The Rise and Fall of Knight Capital and the Biggest Risk for Financial Markets is a thrilling minute-by-minute account of the terrifying hours following Knight Capital's August 1, 2012 trading debacle, with news-breaking research regarding the firm's 17 years of tumultuous existence as an independent company. Knightmare on Wall Street is the definitive behind-the-scenes story of Knight Capital.

Knight Capital announced a staggering loss of $440 million. What followed after this shocking announcement were several rounds of desperate conversations with a number of vulture players who had smelled opportunity and were readying themselves to pick up bargain-priced pieces. On August 6, 2012, Joyce confirmed that Knight Capital had struck a deal with Jefferies, TD Ameritrade, Blackstone, GETCO, Stephens, and Stifel Financial, staving off collapse days after the trading mishap.

Knightmare on Wall Street provides a fascinating account of what it took to elevate the firm to the cusp of the retail investing revolution of the late 1990s, to struggle through booms and busts, and to bring the firm down, to end up ultimately being ignominiously bought up by a competitor.

ABOUT THE SPEED TRADERS
High-frequency traders have been called many things-from masters of the universe and market pioneers to exploiters, computer geeks, and even predators. Everyone in the business of investing has an opinion of speed traders, but how many really understand how they operate? The shadow people of the investing world, today's high-frequency traders have decidedly kept a low profile-until now. In this new title, The Speed Traders, Mr. Perez opens the door to the secretive world of high-frequency trading (HFT). Inside, prominent figures of HFT drop their guard and speak with unprecedented candidness about their trade.

Mr. Perez begins with an overview of computerized trading, which formally began on February 8, 1971, when NASDAQ launched the world's first electronic market with 2,500 over-the-counter stocks and which has evolved into the present-day practice of making multiple trades in a matter of microseconds. He then picks the brains of today's top players. Manoj Narang (Tradeworx), John Netto (M3 Capital), and Aaron Lebovitz (Infinium Capital Management) are just a few of the luminaries who decided to break their silence and speak openly to Mr. Perez. Virtually all of the expertise available from the world of speed trading is packed into these pages.

The Speed Traders, published by McGraw-Hill Inc., is the most comprehensive, revealing work available on the most important development in trading in generations. High-frequency trading will no doubt play an ever larger role as computer technology advances and the global exchanges embrace fast electronic access. The Speed Traders explains everything there is to know about how today's high-frequency traders make millions-one cent at a time.

Fulham Announces Groundbreaking HotSpot Plus All-in-One LED Driver and Emergency System

New System Delivers Maximum Features and Flexibility in Significantly Smaller Footprint.

Hawthorne, CA, USA (February 12, 2016) -- Fulham Co., Inc., a leading supplier of lighting components and electronics for commercial and specialty applications, today announced the availability of its new HotSpot Plus™ All-in-One LED Driver and Emergency System. Combining a dimmable LED driver, emergency LED driver and replaceable backup battery, the HotSpot Plus delivers a complete LED emergency system in a small, efficient and cost-effective package that completely eliminates the need for a separate emergency system.

The new system has been developed to meet the needs of commercial builders who are increasingly being asked to meet new state and city safety requirements for more emergency lighting in new construction and retrofit projects. The industry's first-of-its-kind system is faster to assemble, features new battery technology that delivers more cycles and longer life, and can be programmed for use in a broad array of fixtures. These features provide luminaire manufacturers with greater inventory flexibility and the ability to deliver products more rapidly.

"Fulham is committed to helping its customers remain successful as they compete in a rapidly evolving and growing marketplace," said Russ Sharer, vice president of marketing and business development for Fulham. "To that end, our product development goals are to create new products and solutions that are intelligent, programmable and connected. Products such as the HotSpot Plus meet those goals and help our customers to stay ahead."

The Fulham HotSpot Plus functions as a 40W constant current LED driver during normal working conditions, delivering from 250-1400mA of current. If a power outage occurs, the system automatically engages an integrated LiFePO4 6.4VDC backup battery to maintain the availability of current, delivering 5W of power for 180 minutes or 10W for 90 minutes.

The HotSpot Plus system can be programmed to deliver current in increments of 1mA with the Fulham SmartSet programming platform. Users can program the driver via the handheld TPSB-100 SmartSet Controller or the feature-rich SmartSet PC Software. The SmartSet system also includes a one-touch, auto-program feature for fast, efficient programming of multiple units.

To provide users with maximum flexibility, the HotSpot Plus is available in two formats, compact (6.29" x 3.0" x 1.10") or linear (9.5" x 2.4" x 1.34"), and can be installed easily with only two screws. Advanced features include: an illuminated test switch, self-diagnostics and a user-selectable emergency power level.

Their music features a broad variety of genres such as Metal, Melodic Punk, Psychobilly and Country. They're releasing a new album March 26th followed by a European Tour).
