In 2012, the IAPAM's Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums with Botox(R) Training Stand Alone

Beyond the hands-on botox ® training and aesthetic medicine instruction, the resources physicians receive from the IAPAM position it as the most respected physician training association in North America.

Las Vegas, NV, December 23, 2011 -- The IAPAM leads its competitors in offering the most complete botox ® training and aesthetic medicine education in North America. In 2012, attendees at the IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums will have the competitive advantage of learning from board-certified dermatologists and experts in the fields of botox ® training, lasers & IPLs, dermal fillers, hCG for weight loss, medical grade chemical peels and medical micordermabrasion. Beyond the hands-on botox ® training and aesthetic medicine instruction, the resources physicians receive from the IAPAM position it as the most respected physician training association in North America.

The International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine’s (IAPAM) Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with botox ® training is different than any other physician training program offered in North America. The IAPAM (http://www.iapam.com) offers comprehensive aesthetic medicine education and long term support for physicians of all medical specialties. The IAPAM is where the world’s physicians come together to learn and share their experiences in aesthetic medicine. The IAPAM offers a suite of aesthetic medicine training programs from botox ® training (http://www.aestheticmedicinesymposium.com) to hCG training (http://www.hcgtraining.com), along with aesthetic practice business training. Unlike programs offered by a private company, the Aesthetic Medicine Symposium is certified by the IAPAM, a voluntary professional association of physicians and supporters, which sets standards for the aesthetic medical profession.

Attendees at the IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium receive significant value for money. The Symposium provides physicians with:

- dedicated instruction from board-certified dermatologists, who are true experts of the skin and cosmetic injectables.
- hands-on practice in the best injection techniques.
- delivery of the botox ® training at a medical practice, not in a hotel room.
- a set of the IAPAM’s comprehensive training DVDs, which cover:

1. Botulinum Toxin for Cosmetic Patients – lecture.
2. Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers for Cosmetic Patients – live demonstration.
3. Chemical Peel and Microdermabrasion – live demonstration of techniques.

- an environment that does not allow exhibitors, giving doctors more time for education.
- the opportunity to attend the Symposium’s Aesthetic Practice Startup Workshop, which is the only medical spa program highlighting the latest information on medspa business development and social media marketing.
- the unique opportunity to attend the full-day session on hCG and Medical Weight Management. This session will cover hCG for weight loss, the original Dr. Simeons hCG Protocol, prescription appetite suppressants, ketogenic diet based programs, meal replacement and B6/12 injections.

To date, almost 1,000 physicians (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, and DDSs), as well as their accompanying medspa managers, registered nurses, and assistants, have attended the IAPAM’s weekend Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums and hCG Physician Training sessions. For hCG Weight Loss in 2012, Glenmore Healthcare Offers the Gold Standard in Calgary

Glenmore Healthcare follows the IAPAM’s hCG Weight Loss Protocol, which has been administered to over 15,000 patients around the world with consistently safe and effective weight loss results.

Calgary, Alberta, December 23, 2011 -- Glenmore Healthcare is the longest standing provider of safe and effective hCG for weight loss in Calgary. Since opening in 2010, over 450 patients have lost weight utilizing the IAPAM’s exclusive hCG Protocol, offered in Calgary only at Glenmore Healthcare. Worldwide, over 15,000 patients have successfully lost weight using the IAPAM’s hCG Diet.

Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin or hCG has been used as a weight loss aid for over 50 years, and since being showcased by Dr. Oz Show in February and June of 2011, it is experiencing a resurgence in popularity in the US and Canada. Patients can access this safe and effective physician-supervised weight loss program in Calgary at Glenmore Healthcare (http://www.glenmorehealthcare.com).

Glenmore Healthcare’s exclusive hCG Weight Loss Program is a proven medical solution for optimal weight loss and maintenance. Based upon the successful protocol originally developed in 1954 by Dr. Simeons, as detailed in his report, Pounds and Inches, and refined by the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (http://www.iapam.com) in 2010, the Glenmore Healthcare’s hCG medically supervised weight loss program is built around a low calorie diet coupled with the administration of the pharmaceutical grade of the naturally occurring hormone, hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotropin). Glenmore Healthcare follows the IAPAM’s hCG Weight Loss Protocol, which has been administered to over 15,000 patients around the world with consistently safe and effective weight loss results.

Patients participating in the Glenmore Healthcare’s hCG for Weight Loss Program are monitored by a licensed physician who specializes in hCG for weight loss. Labs, vital statistics and body composition analysis are recorded prior to starting the program. Patients at Glenmore Healthcare have lost as much as 20 pounds on our 26 day program, and 35 pounds on our 43 day program. At the end of the program, clinic staff will test a patient’s RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate) with the same equipment as used on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.”

hCG taken on its own, or the use of homeopathic hCG, will not result in rapid, safe weight loss. It is very important that when a patient partakes of an hCG weight loss program, that they complete it under the supervision of a physician, and strictly follow the entire detailed protocol, as is done at Glenmore Healthcare.

For more information on hCG and weight loss, please contact Glenmore Healthcare at 403-452-5699 or info@glenmorehealthcare.com.

FRA backs fashion's new environmental campaign

Forestry Research Associates has spoken out in support of Marc by Marc Jacobs' backing of the Nature Conservancy's 'Plant and Billion Trees' campaign.

Seattle, United States, December 23, 2011 -- Forestry Research Associates has spoken out in support of Marc by Marc Jacobs' backing of the Nature Conservancy's 'Plant and Billion Trees' campaign.

The campaign is intended to help boost the number of trees in the Atlantic forest region of Brazil, which is an area of highly endangered tropical forest. “Eyewear label, Marc by Marc Jacobs, is making a clear and positive statement about the influence that fashion can have on environmental issues, given some intelligent direction and an understanding of the cause,” claimed FRA’s analysis partner, Peter Collins.

At the centre of the label’s involvement in the campaign is the MMJ 261/s bio-based sunglasses, which are made using material from castor-oil seeds. The campaign surrounding the sunglasses points people towards the 'Plant a Seed - Grow Your Tree and Save The Forest' programme’s website. The Facebook page for the campaign will also let people spread the word by inviting their friends and providing more information about the campaign.

FRA pointed out that only 12 per cent of the original Atlantic Forest still stands and that only seven per cent is protected at the moment.

The 'Plant a Billion Trees' campaign highlights the fact that reforestation can help to revive Brazil’s struggling forests. Projects in which people can invest, and that focus on planting sustainable forests - which can keep the forestry community going without resorting to cutting down ancient native forests - must be a good thing. FRA supports Greenwood Management as a strong option for alternative investments from people who are environmentally conscious.

The Nature Conservancy launched the project to plant a billion trees around South America in 2008. It now has a million members and is focusing its efforts on Brazil, as so much of the native forest in the country has been cleared to make way for its rapid expansion.

TechNavio Announces the Publication of its Report - Global MLCC Market 2010-2014

TechNavio today launched its Global Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor (MLCC) Market 2010-2014 report based on an in-depth study covering the Americas and the EMEA and APAC regions.

London, UK, December 23, 2011 -- TechNavio today launched its Global Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor (MLCC) Market 2010-2014 report based on an in-depth study covering the Americas and the EMEA and APAC regions. The report aids decision makers’ understanding of the key trends impacting the growth of this market.

Commenting on the report, an analyst from TechNavio’s Hardware team said, “The APAC region has become the key manufacturing ground for electronic device manufacturers. The continuous demand for MLCCs in the APAC region has led to the emergence of manufacturers from Asian countries such as Taiwan, South Korea, and China. Manufacturers from these countries are increasing their production with the support of improved technologies for the production of MLCCs. Moreover, these companies offer MLCCs at relatively low cost than companies from other countries.”

According to the report, the demand for MLCC is increasing in the Electronics industry with the continuous increase in the requirement for high-specification electronic gadgets. The manufacturers of high-end electronic equipment and devices have increased the use of MLCCs per electronic device.
Further, the report also discusses that there are some inherent drawbacks with ceramic. MLCC has ceramic as the dielectric material, which is prone to physical damage such as getting cracked. Unless the MLCCs are handled with utmost care, the lifetime of MLCCs will shorten.

Farmer’s Garden™ by Vlasic® Provides Simple Solutions When You’re in a Wine Pairing “Pickle”

Top 5 Tips to Boost Wine Pairing Proficiency.

MOUNTAIN LAKES, NJ (December 22, 2011) -- As part of its “TasteBuds” entertainment and lifestyle blog (http://www.thetastebudsblog.com), Farmer’s Garden™ by Vlasic®, a Pinnacle Foods Group LLC brand, has tapped guest blogger and chef Jennifer Iannolo of The Gilded Fork to provide tips and advice on wine pairing during this busy holiday entertaining season exclusively on its microsite, http://www.FarmersGardenbyVlasic.com.

In her blog post entitled “Simple Solutions to the Wine Pairing Conundrum,” (http://www.farmersgardenvlasic.com/?p=455) Iannolo shares a step-by-step approach and a host of resources (ranging from high-tech to old-school) to help navigate the wine conundrum with ease.

Here are Jennifer’s top five tips for enjoying the perfect wine selection without panic:

1. First you want to start with your menu: What are you serving? From there you have something to work with - flavor profiles, dominant flavors and a price range.

2. For gadget geeks, there are three stellar wine apps that will do the pairing work for you: Hello Vino, Pair It, and Natalie MacLean Wine Picks & Pairings

3. For old-schoolers, take your dinner menu to your local wine merchant and ask for pairing help. But be careful here. I once went in to get a bottle of wine when I was dressed to the nines with my Louis Vuitton bag, and the merchant escorted me right back to the “vault”, where the most expensive wines lived.

4. Get yourself a copy of Karen Page and Andrew Dornenberg’s book, What to Drink with What You Eat. Broken down by flavor components, this incredibly useful book identifies wines by regions, varietals, and goes even beyond wine in case you want to serve the perfect...water.

5. Great wines can be found anywhere. If you are comfortable doing the pairings yourself some bulk chains such as Costco or Beverages & More offer a decent selection of wines.

FRA shares South Australian plantation industry's water legislation concerns

Forestry Research Associates (FRA) agrees that Victoria, Australia, could see an influx of forestry plantation investment, as a result of the introduction of tougher water policies in the South Australia region.

Seattle, United States, December 22, 2011 -- The South Australian plantation industry said that the new NRM (Commercial Forests) Amendment Bill could require plantation owners in the region to pay for licenses for the use of intercepted water in their irrigation, which they claim could put investors off doing business in the region. Instead, they claim that investors will be drawn to the Victoria region as it does not have the strict licensing rules over the use of rainwater.

The Australian Forest Products Association CEO, David Pollard, stated, “The South Australian Bill threatens to impose costly and burdensome regulations on plantation growers that do not recognise the rights to existing water use in declared areas.”

FRA, which is a research and advisory consultancy specialising in sustainable forestry and forestry investment, stated its support for South Australia’s plantation industry’s concerns. Its analysis partner, Peter Collins, said, “FRA agrees that these new regulations over what should be a free-to-access commodity are outrageous and will surely work to the detriment of the plantation industry in the region. However, forestry investors may now move their cash to Victoria, where the legislation does not exist.”

Mr Pollard continued to explain why investment might make its way to Victoria: “Victoria has released its Western Region Sustainable Water Strategy, which provides recognition for the water rights of existing plantations and the right to ongoing harvesting and replanting at the time a site is declared an intensive management area.”

Plantation projects, such as those operated by Greenwood Management in Brazil, are a popular reforestation tactic in many nations around the world and can offer great investment opportunities for those looking to make cash from investing in trees, added FRA.

Fine art market will grow in Asia, claims AAA

Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA) has announced its predictions for continued growth within the Asian fine art market.

Boston, MA, USA, December 22, 2011 -- Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA) has announced it predicts that the market for fine art in Asia will continue to grow, along with prices.

The prediction follows a report by Reuters claiming that art is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative asset class, as people turn their backs on traditional equity markets in fear of losing their money if they should collapse again.

It’s not surprising that the young in Asia, who are now enjoying a new wealthy way of life, are looking to protect their investments by diversifying risk,” commented AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson. His organization promotes the alternative investment market, with particular emphasis on ethical investments and impact investing techniques.

One famous collector, Kai-Yin Lo, who spoke to Reuters about the art market, said, "As East and West get into more of a confluence in taste and in the market place, it will still go up."

She added, "These days art investment has entered into the mainstream of investment, especially for younger people. You cannot divorce love of the piece from what lies behind, the value of it."

It is this that attracts so many people to invest in art. Having stocks, shares or even gold and other commodity investments can bring in the cash, but they cannot be enjoyed in the same way as art can. Art can bring an investor a lifetime of happiness, and pay for their retirement if they have invested well, explained Mr Johnson.

The young people investing in art in China, Hong Kong and elsewhere, expect the value of fine art to increase in the coming years as more people head into the alternative investment market.

Among other asset classes, AAA promotes investment in forestry in developing countries as a way to generate income while putting money into a project that can help reduce climate change. It recommends firms like Greenwood Management as they offer direct investment, instead of fund or REIT-based investments.

About Alternative Asset Analysis:
The remit of Alternative Asset Analysis is to analyse and provide news on the global performance of a wide range of alternative asset classes including, but not restricted to, commodities, real estate, forestry, foreign exchange, hedge funds, private equity and venture capital.

TechNavio today launched its Global Extended Validation SSL Certification Market 2010-2014 report based on an in-depth study focusing on the Americas and the EMEA and APAC regions.

London, UK, December 21, 2011 -- TechNavio today launched its Global Extended Validation SSL Certification Market 2010-2014 report based on an in-depth study focusing on the Americas and the EMEA and APAC regions. The report aids decision makers’ understanding of the present and the future landscape of market.

Commenting on the report, an analyst from TechNavio’s IT Security team said, “Increasing competition between vendors is resulting in integration of malware scanning and other added security features in EV SSL certificates. Additional features such as malware scanning, accessibility evaluation, and security-auditing modules help end-users effectively secure their network. Since end-users are now demanding a consolidated solution, which can provide additional security features apart from SSL, vendors providing add-on security modules are experiencing stronger growth.”

According to the report, the major driver for the Global EV SSL Certification market is the high growth in online transactions. The mushrooming of banks and PCI companies is driving end-users toward online transactions. Advantages such as quick transfer and fund transfer at low cost are driving end-users to adopt online transaction practices.

Further, the report also discusses key market challenges such as frequent emergence of new web browsers leading to compatibility issues.

The contents of this report are based on research conducted on an objective combination of primary and secondary scores, including inputs from key participants in the industry. The report contains a comprehensive market and vendor landscape in addition to a SWOT analysis of the key players.

London, UK, December 21, 2011 -- TechNavio today launched its Global Flywheel Energy Storage Market 2010-2014 report based on an in-depth study focusing on the Americas and the EMEA and APAC regions. The report aids decision makers’ understanding of the key trends impacting the growth of this market.

Commenting on the report, an analyst from TechNavio’s Cleantech team said, “One of the major factors boosting the growth of the Global Flywheel Energy Storage market is the emergence of micro grids. These micro grids require storage of electricity for load balancing. TechNavio Announces the Publication of its Report - Global HIV Drugs Market 2010-2014

TechNavio today launched its Global HIV Drugs Market 2010-2014 report based on an in-depth study focusing on the Americas and the EMEA and APAC regions.

London, UK, December 21, 2011 -- TechNavio today launched its Global HIV Drugs Market 2010-2014 report based on an in-depth study focusing on the Americas and the EMEA and APAC regions. The report aids decision makers’ understanding of the key trends impacting the growth of this market.

Commenting on the report, an analyst from TechNavio’s Healthcare team said, “Major issues such as resistance to ART, patent expirations, and increasing HIV infections have created a need for novel drugs. The trend is moving towards development of new ART drugs that operate outside infected cells. This could include new class of drugs for entry inhibitors, coreceptor antagonists and fusion inhibitors.”

According to the report, early initiation of Highly Active AntiRetroviral Therapy (HAART) is the most effective way to reduce the risk of blood-borne infections. New studies from British Columbia Centre for Excellence (BC-CfE) in HIV/AIDS, San Francisco, states that HAART was associated with a 50 percent decrease in new yearly HIV infections among injection drug users. This driver is expected to have a huge impact on the market.

Key findings from the report:
Increase in Prevalence of HIV Worldwide and Longer Life Expectancy of Patients
Lack of Complete Cure and Length of Therapy
Development of Immune-based therapies for HIV

AAA reacts to Cogent report on alternatives

Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA) is highlighting a new report from Cogent that suggests boutique alternative investment providers are becoming increasingly in demand.

Boston, MA, USA, December 21, 2011 -- Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA) is highlighting a new report from Cogent that suggests boutique alternative investment providers are becoming increasingly in demand.

Alternative investment advocacy group, AAA, claims that fund managers are under growing pressure from customers to find them interesting, risk-averse and profitable alternative asset classes in which to invest. As a result, boutique providers are proving popular.

Cogent Research’s managing director, Antonio Ferreira, said, "Alternatives are the only category that has had a positive flow in the last 12 months.” He added that a range of emerging boutique alternatives providers are coming on to the market as a result of the growing demand for these kinds of products.

The value of assets under management in alternatives has increased recently and among those with more than 15 per cent of their total investment in alternatives, multi-alternatives tend to be among the most popular options, claimed Mr Ferreira.

AAA welcomes the emergence of some new providers on the market, and their analysis partner, Anthony Johnson, stated, “For a while now, advisors have been claiming that they are under increasing pressure from their clients to put more cash into alternatives. Alternative asset classes, such as forestry real estate, hedge funds and private equity, all offer diversification within a portfolio, which can reduce the correlation between the stock markets and the returns investors receive.”

The Cogent study also found that 40 per cent of wirehouse advisors said that they expect the alternatives market to grow further, a claim that AAA agrees with.

As well as alternatives in general, AAA is particularly keen to stimulate interest in ethical investments, such as schemes that allow investors to buy up small areas of plantation forest in developing countries, such as the scheme run by Greenwood Management in Brazil. “These kinds of alternative investments, that are not closely correlated with the stock markets, represent an attractive option during these tough economic times, added Mr Johnson.
