Toronto (ON), Canada - November 10, 2011 -- Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of LinkOptimizer 4.6.3, a maintenance update to its popular workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign. Awarded 4 out of 5 starts by Computer Arts magazine, LinkOptimizer automates complex image manipulation tasks allowing to significantly reduce the size of InDesign job, save processing time and reduce production costs.

The new version is released to address user requests concerning certain occurrences of rotated images in InDesign documents. Rotated images in skewed containers will now be processed, helping users optimize a wider range of InDesign links. LinkOptimizer will also prevent flipped images from being cropped in Photoshop to avoid incorrect positioning in InDesign document after processing.

LinkOptimizer works automatically with Adobe Photoshop to eliminate the excess image data of InDesign links, perform essential image adjustments such as color conversion and sharpening, and convert image formats. To optimize the job size, LinkOptimizer automatically reduces the image resolution, scales and crops the images in Photoshop according to their dimensions in the InDesign document and the target resolution specified, and reimports them to InDesign at 100%.

In addition, the software can merge image layers, run Photoshop actions during processing, apply specific ICC profiles and backup InDesign documents and links before processing. As a result, users can save gigabytes of disk space and countless hours of optimizing images manually, accelerate document output, reduce job turnaround, and cut costs through faster processing.

Pricing and Availability:
LinkOptimizer can be purchased from Zevrix website for US$259.95 as well as from authorized resellers (Light version - $179.95). Trial is also available for download. The update is free for LinkOptimizer 4.x users and $98.78 to upgrade from previous versions. LinkOptimizer is available for Mac OS X 10.4.2-10.7, a Universal Binary, and works with Adobe InDesign CS3-CS5.5.
