Palm
Springs, CA, USA -- Fusion
Art is pleased to announce it is accepting
submissions for "Light & Shadow," its June 2016
international online juried art exhibition. The gallery is accepting
submissions until May 25th.
For
this competition artists and photographers are encouraged to share
their artistic vision and interpretation of light and shadow. The
artwork should focus on the dramatic placement and effects of light
and shadow over the canvas or through the lens. Whether color or
black and white, the light and shadow in the artwork should emphasize
the subject matter by giving definition and dimension thus enhancing
the vivid placement of lights and darks. The competition will accept
any subject matter in any of the acceptable mediums and the artwork
can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction.
The
competition is open to artists worldwide and all artists, regardless
of experience level, are encouraged to participate. Cash prizes will
be awarded in two categories - "Traditional" Art and
"Photography & Digital" Art and the Best in Show
winners receive an invitation to participate in Fusion Art's group
exhibition in Palm Springs, CA in November 2016.
Each
month Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed art competitions and
exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide
exposure, by having their work promoted through Fusion Art's website,
in 70+ press release announcements, email marketing and through the
gallery's social media outlets.
